How do I Apply Njala Nail Wraps?

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water to remove all oils, sweat, lotion and dirt from your hands. DO NOT put on lotion afterwards. Your hands and fingernails need to be dry in order for nail wraps to adhere.
  2. Hold the nail wraps with the smallest wraps to the left and biggest wraps to the right.
  3. Layer wraps over your nails to determine the correct size. Tip: You can curve the wrap to your nail for a closer look. You can slightly stretch them to reach the edges.
  4. Apply the wraps just above the cuticle
  5. Trim off excess nails with a nail clipper.
  6. File in one direction to avoid damaging the nail.
  7. Cure at least 2 times her hand. Our lamps are pre-timed for 60 seconds.

How do I Remove Njala Nail Wraps?

  1. Apply some oil around the edge of the wrap.
  2. Use the stick included in your kit to gently push and lift the oil covered edges.
  3. As the oil gets under the nail, keepworking the stick until the wrap is removed.
  4. You may be left with some adhesive, but use the oil and stick to remove that as well.
  5. Wash your hands and you are done.

Can I skip washing my hands?

NO. In order for the medical grade adhesive to stick to your nail bed your hands should be free from lotion, dirt or sweat. So wash and dry your hands before use.

What are Njala nail wraps made from?

Our wraps are made of real gel nail polish that is layered between a base adhesive  and a top gloss coat. They are non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty free.

How long will nail wraps last?

The wraps should last at least 14 days if applied correctly. Please be sure to clean your hands before application and cure with our UV lamp to ensure your manicure lasts.

If I don't have a UV lamp, will the wraps still work?

Unfortunately because our wraps are made of semi-cured gel nail polish, they have to be fully cured in order to adhere properly. Curing the nails will strengthen the wrap and extend the lifespan of your manicure.

How long should I cure the wraps?

You should cure Njala wraps for at least 120 seconds. Our UV lamps are preset for 60 secs, so tap it twice per hand.

Will the wraps damage my natural nail?

No they will not. While removing we recommend applying some oil around the edge of the wrap. Use the stick that comes in your kit and work oil under the wrap while lifting it. There may be some adhesive left on your nails, but the oil will remove that as well.

How do I store nail wraps?

It is important to keep our wraps in the interior black box. This box locks out uv rays and helps maintain the semi-cured state. If not stored properly the wraps may harden and will be difficult to apply and maintain on your fingernails. Also make sure to store in a cool and dry place.

How do I prevent the wraps from lifting?

If you want to prevent lifting make sure you are not applying them on your cuticle or surrounding skin. Make sure the nail wrap is resting solely on your nail bed.

What if the wraps don’t fit my nails?

Our wraps come in 15 different sizes. They will fit most nails, but if you can’t find one that quite fits, feel free to stretch the wraps just a tiny bit.
